It is a sign of the times that a "club" such as ours has to make clear their legal position regarding posts to our groups.

All posts to Yahoo! Groups (including ours) are subject to the Yahoo! Terms of Service, Spam Policy, and Abuse regulation. 

Pursuant to international statutes, images distributed via the Fan Family groups are deemed to have been found in the public domain. Any images (copyrighted or not) distributed via the groups  are distributed under fair use without pecuniary advantage to the poster, to the members of our groups, who have expressed a prior interest in receiving such images by joining said group(s) at Yahoo!Groups, solely for non-profit research and/or personal educational purposes only.

It is accepted and notified that many of the Fan Family groups contain language and images of an adult nature, and individual members are required to attest to the groups distributors, Yahoo!Groups, during the joining process, that they are of legal age to receive such material. Whilst every care is taken to prevent minors accessing adult material via these groups, the owner and moderators of the Fan Family groups accept no liability for any such exposure, which is beyond their reasonable control.
