Welcome to the Fan Family!

Welcome, and thank you for visiting fan-family.com, home of the Fan Family email groups, around 50 "eGroups" hosted at Yahoo! Groups, used for exchanging pictures on a wide variety of topics - Of course a little bit of discussion and appreciation goes on along the way too!

If you are new to our groups then, hopefully, you'll find all the information and help you need here to get you started - if you are a regular visitor then welcome back!

Certified 100% fun! Our groups started back in June 2000, and now boast a total membership of several thousand people from all around the world. Each of our groups covers a particular topic or theme, including celebrities, Asian babes, adult stories, domestic pets, Playboy Playmates and CyberClub, .WAV sound files, babes, fantasy art, the girls of Penthouse and Perfect10 magazines, wild animals, hunks, landscape art and nature, anti virus, and many more, not forgetting our dedicated fan groups for Jenna Jameson, Jo Guest and Neriah Davis!

There are several features that set us apart from many other groups:

Community: We don't just distribute pictures - we talk about them! Members are free to exchange views, make requests, or simply compliment the posters.

Volume: The Fan Family likes to try to cater for all members, regardless of the size of their mailboxes. To this end we have a daily volume limit (per poster) for each group, to ensure that those members with smaller mailboxes can keep up.

Variety: With around 50 groups, we hope that you will find something to interest you. We also listen to our members - if there's a topic not covered by our groups then feel free to suggest it!

No spam: All our groups are pre-moderated, so all messages posted are previewed by our intrepid team of moderators to ensure that the content is appropriate for the group, and that they comply with Yahoo! Groups Anti Spam Policy.

In the "Our Groups" section of the menu above you'll find details of all Fan Family groups, and links so that you can join them straight away. We also strongly recommend that you join Fan Family Admin, a low-traffic text-only group where we announce group changes and new groups.

Many of the questions asked by members are dealt with in other sections of this web site - If you can't find the answer here, Fan Family Admin would be the best place to ask, or you can try asking in our new Forums section.

Our new Web Links Directory is now open for business. Please feel free to add links to all your favorite sites on the web, your favorite blog, MySpace pages, Windows Live pages, Yahoo! 360 pages, etc, and if you're a webmaster we will be happy to exchange reciprocal links with you (No porn, warez or gambling sites please).

YG Alerts Mailing List

The issues with mail distribution that Yahoo! Groups experienced in late January 2006 got us thinking about ways to get information about delays out to Yahoo! users whenever we become aware of a problem, so we created a mailing list on one of the powerful mail servers run by our hosting company (thanks Netnibble!). With this mailing list we hope to be able to send alerts out quickly whenever a problem is detected with Yahoo! Groups (mail or web site). Our sub-site, fan-family.org, is hosted in Singapore, and is an ideal access point to our groups home pages for all our members, friends and visitors from south of the equator (although it has great connections to Europe and West Coast USA too!).

Fan Family Forum

Our forum was getting invaded by spammers, and wasn't really serving any useful purpose, so it's been deleted.
